White Thanksgiving in Detroit

Today I talked to a friend~Lily in US

It's already snowed in Detroit

Even it's only at the end of the Nov.

B_U_T just like "X'mas"

Almost forget the scenery of the "white X'mas"

But I'm pretty looking forward the following X'mas

Hope we can celebrate at my new cozy home

 

Many friends in US have some changes...

        someone is got married

        someone is carrying a baby

   At least both are good news

I feel happy for them

 

 

Thanksgiving Turkey

It's Thanksgiving Day AGAIN!!

We ate turkey almost every year

while we were in USA

It was not really delicious as we thought

However, it was really fun

because all Taiwanese students got together

 

I still remembered that

             we went to BEST-BUY at 2 o'clock in the morning

             we lined up outside under 0 degree C

             we even brought the tent and try to kept warm

             we spent "TWO thousands US dollars" in  one hour

             we acted just like crazy guys

 

It is kind of the traditional event and so interesting!!

第二天的運動會...是晴天唷

教職員的各項趣味競賽也正式登場囉

 

一分耕耘一分收穫...玩完還是會喘

兩人兩腳...有小懿的加油聲唷

好玩好玩...雖然只有參加兩項...

但是兩天都在運動場...還是會累ㄋ

運動會

今年的運動會竟然下雨了

一早大家的第一句話都是問...

下雨還是照常舉行嗎

答案當然是肯定的囉...

 

進場是最讓人期待的...

中文系...是古裝耶

物理系...是火箭啦...不過司儀說成"飛機"

化學系...暴走族...

生科系...女生都變花...男生變草囉...

數學系...有真的可以撥的算盤耶

土木系的鐵塔...害我以為是法文系咧

還有一隻會噴火的龍呢

學生真的是創意無限ㄋ...

 

訪視 vs 盤點

教育部又來訪視了

但這也未必不是一件好事

 

實驗室變乾淨了...

藥品室變整齊了...

鋼瓶也都因此有了名牌...

就像是年終盤點吧...

本來不知的東西...都出現了...

 

今天學生一踏進實驗室...

ㄟ...怎麼會有春聯

ㄏㄏ...其實是貼上毒害物的標示啦...

不過經他們一說...

紅紅的...菱形...

乍看還真是有像"春"字呢

這是我的舞鞋唷...跟我的衣服配吧

我的鞋鞋是沒有金光閃閃...但這可是我故意挑的唷

因為ㄚ...舞技不好咩...

如果跳錯...我的腳腳才不會很容易被抓包囉

 

衣服嘛~是Teresa送的啦...

因為一直希望可以像個OL嘛

所以就找機會給他穿"suit"囉

雖然大家都在問...今天有要幹麻ㄋㄟ

其實我不過想一圓當office lady 而已啦

Differences

學期已經過了一半

第一次在下課時外頭的天還是亮亮的...

其實已經對教學感到疑惑...

帶實驗不是第一次了...

但距上一次也已經是五年前...

這五年來,台灣的教育真的變了嗎...

在美國開始教書前...

學校刻意為我們安排課程...

擔心我們不能了解美國的教育...

一開始覺得好像不是那麼的重要...

但事實上的確在這課程中學到了許多...

懷念在美國教書時和學生的互動

幸運的是...現在也能再擁有這樣的感覺

BUT...美國和台灣的孩子們真的不同...

教育機制更是大不同...

真的是要謝謝今年的孩子們...

回台後的第一批學生...

Eventhough I feel really frustrated sometimes...

But  I'm still looking for the best way for all of us

任何人用對了鎖，那個記憶就自然會被解開

On last Sat. night, I met an old friend at a "Special" wedding recption..

Groom and I'v  disconnected for almost five years...

I'm glad that he still remembered to invite me...

In fact not only I was disappeared in Taiwan but also he was...

Therefore, we did not have a reception as a reunion...

However, there was one and the only classmate sit with me...

 

This was the second time we met after 1997...

I participated his wedding ca. three month ago...

we did not have time to chat...of course

This time we sit together again, but everything is changed...

We'v the keys for each other to our good remembrance of the schooldays...junior

He told me we had the moments that only belong to us...

What a beautiful and romantic memory...

Just as Lily's words "keys and recollections"...

I think we are both luck to have them in our early 20's...

MISSING

Just feel low all day...

Andrew flew to France...

 

While I drove back from airport,

Jay Chou's songs were around...

Detroit life popped out in my mind... 

 

I never thought that I can drive one day...

The driving force was Ｉcould give him a ride to the airport

just because of work... even attending conferances...

Therefore I got my driving licence...

In fact, I did not have a chance to do that...

We are back in Taiwan now...

but I really do not like this feeling...

I think we are just used to have each other...

We always stayed together

     even he was doing experiments in the lab...

     even he developed the films in the dark room...

     even he participated conferences in different cities...

 

We are not students anymore... 

We can't do what we want to...

We have to get used to...

I'm sure we could ...ONE DAY...

I'v  already missed you....Andrew

看花兒在笑

The weather was nice however, there was a little bit of wind... 

We still had a LADIES' DAY

Eventhough

      there was a traffic jam,

      it took Yvonne and I a lot of time to get THREE balloons...

      no parking space for my little cute Matize...

We were still so exicted and looking forward to 

 

Before I reached there. I can't image how many flowers I would see...

While I FLEW in flowers, I felt so touched and moved...

Two kids' laughing around the fields...

Red, pink coreopsis,  golden sunflower, colorful windmill....

Lots of landing airplanes....

Just made everyone have an unforgettable "flowerseeing trip"

 

正午的波斯菊

大概是期中考週的最後一天吧

所以系上顯的冷冷清清的

不過...這樣的感覺還真不賴

趁著中午...太陽也很配合的亮相

Yvonne,慧娟和我就這樣踩著愉快的步伐賞花去

 

Yvonne興奮的喊著:真的是花海...好棒喔...

ㄟ...Yvonne你在開車車耶

慧娟的遮瑕功...真的是給他發揮的淋漓盡致

超自然又可愛ㄋㄟ  我也忍不住的偷學了一招

我嘛~~在Yvonne的超強攝影功力庇蔭下

就給他"裝清純囉"

 

除了兩對新人和我們共享花海外

就都是我們的囉...真的很讚吧
